Vox Hunt: Music - No Vocals Allowed
Share a great instrumental song (or one that would have been better as an instrumental).
My husband and I jokingly call this song the Christmas Dirge. The real name is in the old Irish and very difficult to spell. It translates to "That Night in Bethlehem."
I am playing this song on a soprano pennywhistle. I can't tell for sure which whistle I used (a whistler have many whistles - they begin to covet more and more whistle) but all of my soprano whistles cost less than ten dollars.
In other words, the pennywhistle is a great instrument for someone who has always wanted to play music but was afraid of the start up costs. Try it to learn the basics of music first before laying out the big bucks for the instrument of your dreams. And who knows? You may not want to move on but instead stay with the pennywhistle.
